Dr. Tariq Arif is a graduate of the prestigious Cleveland Chiropractic College. He received highly specialized education and training in the approach to successfully diagnose, treat and correct health problems and the pain or discomfort his patients are enduring. Doctors of Chiropractic go through schooling similar to medical doctors–in fact, the first two years of training are almost identical. During the subsequent years, medical students focus on pharmacology (drugs), critical care and surgery while chiropractic students focus solely on the central nervous system, how subluxations impact the human body and how removing these subluxations can stop the pain, restore the body’s powerful healing powers and promote true health. Dr. Arif is the founder and director of Back and Pain Rehab Center. He has been married for 16 years with 2 children. He has lived in Calgary, England, Africa and the United States. He loves traveling, mentoring, playing lacrosse, skeet shooting and skydiving. Dr. Arif’s greatest passion is being a chiropractor and improving the health and well being of his patients. Since 2009, Back and Pain Rehab has been providing residents of the greater Cincinnati area with the highest level of health care and guidance for healthy living. With over 15 years of chiropractic experience under his belt he has only one goal in mind – THE PATIENT’S NEEDS COME FIRST!!
Dr. David Zvirblis also graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. Our central nervous system is rooted in the spine, and doctors of chiropractic (DC) are trained to diagnose abnormal separations there – you may have heard them called subluxations. These problems are often caused by accidents, tension, or over-exertion. As your care provider, the doctor re-establishes mobility and reflex in these areas where the nerves are pinched or disturbed, helping with a large number of conditions like back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, headache, sciatica, whiplash, and fybromyalgia. When you realize that the messages from the brain to the organs go through our vertebrae, it’s no wonder that care from a doc like Dr. “Z” improves our quality of life in all kinds of ways.
Dr. Z grew up in Chicago, IL where he played baseball and studied judo and karate. His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois – Chicago. After graduating from Cleveland in 1996, he did an internship in Kansas City, and then started practicing in 1998. A true student of technique, Dr. Z has over 14 years of experience as a chiropractor helping patients feel better, move better, and perform better. WHO IS TAKING CARE OF YOUR SPINE?
